Going to Grammy and Papa's house... again.

Well we are leaving again... but this time we are driving! Mommy is trying to torture me. The drive will take about 9 hours, and I have to stay in my car seat for the whole time! She says that she is going to get me out a few times so I can stretch, but I think she might be teasing me.

Anyway, we will be gone for a week... so hopefully you can stand looking at these pictures until we get back.

Baby Dedication

This weekend my parents Dedicated me at Church. This means that they have committed to raise me in a Godly home and teach me Godly morals and values.

Mommy read this bible verse to me:

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

During the ceremony, I was given a prayer quilt that was made by the quilting group at church. This quilt has strings that you tie in a knot as you say a prayer. My Grandma is part of this quilting group and she was very sneaky and didn't tell Mommy that she was the one making the quilt for me. It is made out of the same material as my bedding, so it matches my bed set. Grandma was really worried that it would be given to another child, so thankfully the pastor got it right. Thank you Grandma!

Well they finally caught me. They saw me roll over and had the camera ready! Darn. I was trying to keep it a secret!

First Overnight without Mommy

My Mommy and Daddy went out with their friends for Mommy's birthday, so they sent me to Grandma's house for the night. I slept really well, but my Mommy didn't. She missed me too much! But they had a great time anyway.

I rolled over!

Yup, that's right. I started on my tummy and rolled onto my back! It shocked my Mommy. She went to go make my bottle and I rolled over just in time. I'm being sneaking about it - I've rolled twice and nobody has seen me do it!!! Mommy and Daddy think that I'm Houdini.

My Mommy hasn't found much time lately to update our website... sorry! I've been busy chewing on anything I can get my hands on. I can now reach out and grab my toys, but I think that my hands are the best toys EVER!

This is my friend Miles. We spent a lot of time together while we were camping. He is 3 months older than me and everyone kept saying that he is my boyfriend. What is that about? But I do think that he is cute!!! Maybe one day!

My 2nd Camping Trip

This week I went camping with Mommy and Grandma Ann in Malibu CA. We only went for a few days because Mommy is a wimp and cant handle the dirt for too long. I'm not sure what the big deal was... we were in an RV. Its not like we were laying in the dirt, but she decided that it was time to go. Grandma stayed there for a few more days with all of her friends.

There was something much more interesting happening on the ground. I didn't want to take ANOTHER picture.

3 Months Old/ 4th of July

Well I'm 3 months old now. Mommy and Daddy keep telling me to stop growing - Are they crazy? Like I want to be carried around for the rest of my life. But then again, that might not be so bad. - I'll have to think about this one a little bit.

The Dr said that unless I get sick, I dont have to go to see him this month. That means I wont be able to find out how much I've grown until the beginning of August.


For the 4th of July we went to the Trujillo's house. They have been friends with Daddy for a long time. When the fireworks started, I got to go outside for a few minutes, but then Mommy was worried about how loud everything was so she made me go to sleep - I missed my first 4th of July!!!

Mommy and I spend a lot of our time talking to each other. Usually she makes a funny noise and I scream back at her. (I'm trying really hard to learn how to laugh.... So right now it comes out as a scream!) I think that she is the funniest woman alive!

My Trip to Grammy and Papa's House

Hi it's me, Lexi. I decided that since this is a website about me, I should be the one telling you what is happening in my life.

So I fired Mommy and have decided to take over.

Me and my parents had a great time up in Northern California. We did lots of fun things and saw a bunch of my family.

One day we went swimming to help cousin Caroline get used to the water. I'm not sure what Mommy was thinking. I really don’t like water, especially when it is COLD! I figured that she would get the hint when I started crying, but nope - She made me stay in the pool. So I fell asleep. Take that!

Most of the time we just relaxed and I watched everyone eat. Why do adults eat so much when they get together? I thought Mommy was on Weight Watchers? Humm....

I'm going to miss everyone so much! Thankfully Mommy and Grandma Annie will be taking me back in August. I might go through withdrawals.
