Family Photo Shoot, December 2009

My sister, Heather Henderson is an amazing photographer. She did a family photo shoot for us over Christmas. She is so talented. We are very happy with the way they turned out. We even put her kids in a few pictures... oh, and she made the dresses that the girls are wearing!

Thanks Heather!

1st Dentist Appointment

Today we took the girls to the dentist. Lexi did such a great job!! Allie wasn't thrilled to have someone looking at her teeth, but its a starting point.

Lexi got to watch the movie "Clowdy with a chance of Meatballs"

Time for X-Rays! She was such a big girl.... she did great!

Dr Tran checking out her teeth!

It was so much fun. Finally we got cold so we went inside, took a warm bath and had some hot chocolate! Its fun being kids!

Little Girl, BIG Voice

Allie is only 13 months and already talking like crazy!

These are the words that she says in context:

Mama
Dada
Lee-Lee (Lexi)
Bye-Bye
Hi
Thank You
Baby
Kitty
Doggy
This (while pointing to something)

She also shakes her head "no" if you ask her a question, even if she means "yes"

Imagine only a few months from now....

Spending New Years with Disney

We took the girls to Disney on Ice for New Years Eve.

It was so fun. It featured Little Mermaid, TinkerBell, Cars and Lion King. Both of the girls sat through the performance really well (with only a little wiggling from Allie) It was a great family outing.

Happy Birthday Uncle Curtis!

We had Uncle Curtis over for dinner, and Lexi dressed up as the Birthday Prince

Thanks for being a good sport!

Have a Happy Birthday!

Where is Allie?

Now that Allie is moving around everywhere, we have to be careful with what is in arms reach..... she crawled over to Lexi's table, pulled up and found some pizza. She was being VERY quiet, and when we checked on her, she was chowing down!

So we put her on the chair and let her enjoy herself.

Southern California Christmas

Here are the picture from when we celebrated Christmas with Grandma, Great Grandma and Aunt Marie

Lexi got her own little flip out couch. She LOVES it!

She also got all the gear for her bike

So of course we went right outside to try it out (In her princess outfit and everything)

The girls on their bikes
(Allie actually knows how to push the button to make her's move!!!! Scares mom to death!)

We taught Great Grandma how to play the Wii

Lexi got a try too!

Watching some TV and reading a new book on the new couch!

This year we spent Christmas up in Northern California will Grammy and Papa. We had so much fun. Since the girls are getting older, it was fun to see their excitment.

Lexi got a new bike for Christmas!

Allie liked crawling around the tree

Sisters

Great Grandma gave Lexi a Tinker Bell blanket... she sleeps with it every night.

The customary turkey bone. Papa always has to give his grandkids a bone to chew on...

Allie got one too!
