No fun being sick!

This has been a rough week. It all started with me getting the stomach flu, and now Mommy, Daddy and Grandma all have it too.

Once we are all better Mommy will post more pictures. She got a video of me standing up all by myself... so stayed tuned!

My trip to Northern California

Sorry that it has been so long since Mommy has posted anything.

Last week we went to go see our family up in Northern California. It was an eventful trip to say the least. It all started with me getting a cold the week before the trip. The flight up to NorCal was great, and I was a perfect angel.

BUT

Mommy is convinced that I was switched with another baby some time between the airport and Grammy & Papa's house.

When we got there, I ended up getting really sick. My temperature was up to 102.3 when Mommy put me to bed. She was really worried about me. The next day, Thursday, it was down to 99.7 and she was happy about that. However Thursday night it peaked to 103 and Mommy freaked out. I've never had a fever before so she was really concerned.

The next day my Pediatrician told Mommy to take me to Urgent Care to see what was going on. After waiting for 2 hours the Dr came in. To put it nicely, Mommy was less than pleased with his demeanor and professionalism. He never came to the conclusion of why I was so sick and sent us home without any medicine.

My fever continued for the next few days and I just wanted my Mommy (Which is not like me at all). Even though I LOVED being able to see everyone, I just wanted to snuggle with Mommy. I admit that I was a little fussy.... okay, REALLY fussy, but I just didn't feel well.

We came home last night, and I'm feeling a bit better. Its always nice to go on a trip, but there is nothing like being at home when you dont feel well.
Enjoy the pictures from our trip.

Playing

Yes, that is a bathing suit over my clothes. My cousin Caroline gave me a new swim suit and since it was cold, Mommy put it on over my clothes. It was really silly.
Playing with blocks on the floor with Papa and Jack.

Papa with all of his grandkids.

One of Papa's favorite things to do is ride his motorcycle. After one of his rides he came home and let us play on it. It was SO cool!

A Turkey Bone

One of Papa's signature moves is to give his grandkids a bone to chew on. I was finally lucky enough to try one out. It was GREAT! I loved that thing. I kept offering for Mommy to try it out, but she wasn't brave enough, so I just enjoyed it myself. Caroline and Jack enjoyed one too!

Northern California Pictures

Here are more:

This is how Mommy and I get around. Most of the time she puts me in the stroller, but sometimes I get lucky and she'll put me in the carrier. I LOVE this thing!
Me and Papa looking at pictures together.

Auntie Heather always wears the prettiest jewelry.

My Great Grandma "GG" with her 3 great grandkids, and 1 of her grandkids

Mommy didn't take too many pictures this trip because I was pretty cranky and unfortunately she forgot to get one of me and Grammy. (Sorry Grammy!!!!)

A visit from Auntie Lauren

Before we went to visit Grammy and Papa, my Auntie Lauren came to visit me. She is so much fun. I was busy showing her all my moves, like walking around the furniture, and she even took me to the park!

I love my Auntie Lauren, and I'm VERY proud of her. She worked really hard to become a nurse, and now she is working in the Burn Unit at UC Davis, in Sacramento. She is the best!

My mommy and I went down the slide together... I think she had more fun than I did!
Mommy kept trying to take my picture but I was bored. I was trying to get down because I wanted to play and walk around. Yes, I have 3 Pacifiers. Life just isn't the same without 3.

Playing with Mommy and Daddy

A few weeks ago I went to a birthday party for a little boy I know who turned 2. He had his party at a really fun children's museum. There were all sorts of things to do. Unfortunately Mommy forgot the camera, but our friend Misti saved the day. (Just like she did on my first camping trip.) She always has her camera ready, and here are some pictures she took of us.

Our Family
I found a shopping cart that I could push around. It was so much fun!
Papa would be so proud! Here is a Police Motorcycle that kids could play on! It was so much fun!

I'm always ready for the camera!

Playing with Connor and Claire

Last weekend I got to go to my cousin Claire's 1st birthday! It was SO much fun. I got to play with all the kids and had a lot of fun with Claire and her brother Connor.

Here I am with the birthday girl
(this was at the end of the day, and we both were ready for a nap!)

Claire got a really cool car to ride in. I was trying to get her out of it, but she was buckled in really tight.

She had some really fun balloons at her party. We both had a great time trying to catch them.

I saw that Connor was snuggling my Mommy, so I decided to go over there and put a stop to it. But then I got so distracted by his cuteness, I had to snuggle him too!

Clumsy like my Mommy

This morning I got in a fight with the shelves in a cabinet I was trying to climb.

The shelf won.

I have 2 scratches on my forehead, and one on my cheek.

Funny Faces with Uncle Curtis

This last Saturday we went to dinner with my Uncle Curtis for his birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY CURTIS!!!)

Mommy wanted to get a few pictures of us together, but Uncle Curtis and I decided to make funny faces during our photo shoot. Here are some of the highlights.
