WHY?

I learned a new word. "Why?" I even know how and when to use it. Here is a sample of conversations that I have with my mommy:

Mommy: "Lexi pick up those spoons on the floor"
Lexi: "Why?"
Mommy: "We need to put them in the kitchen sink"
Lexi: "Why?"
Mommy: "Because they are dirty"
Lexi: "Why?"
Mommy: "Because you were playing with them on the floor"
Lexi: "Why?"


Mommy is thrilled.

Sesame Street Live

Today Grandma and Mommy took me to see Sesame Street Live. It was SOOOOO much fun. We met up with my friend Troy and his mommy Lori. I just love Troy. We always have so much fun together.

They sang lots of fun songs and danced. I had so much fun. I sang along with them and danced in my seat.

Grandma bought us a bunch of fun things while we were there.

A Friends Wedding

This weekend Mommy and Daddy got to go to a Serbian Wedding. They had a lot of fun. Mommy was really tired when they got home - it was 2 days long!

This was at the end of a REALLY long day. The guy taking the picture couldn't get a really good shot, so this one will do.

In the Traditional Serbian culture, the morning of the wedding, the Groom's representatives go to the Bride's parents house and bargain for the bride. Daddy got to be one of the Groom's representatives. (Mommy took at nap at the Bride and Groom's house while this was going on). Once they agree on a price, they take the bride to the church.

Big Shoes to fill

My new obsession is shoes. I go into everyone's room and steal them. I do a good job of finding the matching pairs too! My favorite ones are my Dad's. They are big and so much fun to walk around in.

1 Month Left

Only 1 month until my baby sister arrives. My Mommy is hoping that it will be sooner.... but we will see about that. I was a week late and she wasn't too happy about that. Mommy is totally ready! Not only does she want to meet the new baby, she is just tired of being pregnant. I guess it doesn't help that I'm such a busy girl and I spend all day testing the limits. Maybe I'll start giving her a break! :)

So say a little prayer for Mommy. She is totally uncomfortable and ready to be done!

Bath Time

Its my favorite part of the day! I get to be silly, splash around and have a good time - until my hair is washed. That is NO FUN AT ALL. But I'm told that I have to wash my hair and I need to get used to it because I'll be doing it for the rest of my life. Whatever.

Right? I can still fit into my infant car seat. I mean, it is my car seat right?

Today Mommy washed it all up for my baby sister. She said that I have to share with her now. Ugh. This sharing thing is going to be hard to deal with.

Headbands

Mommy used to put these on me when I didn't have hair. Now they are just fun to play with. Who says you only have to wear 1 at a time?

Air Mattress Fun

My Mommy is pretty tricky. She knows that I LOVE playing on the air mattress. So yesterday she pulled it out and let me play on it. But soon enough she brought out the pillows and laid down. She thinks that she can out smart me. I know that she just wanted to rest and thought of a way to keep me in the same room without getting into trouble.

All you have to do is push this button and it will blow up!

Who says you have to be 50 yrs old to be a part of the Red Hat Society? All you have to do is put on Grandma's hat when she comes home!

6 weeks left!

Mommy only has 6 weeks to go until my baby sister is due! We are all so excited to meet her!

A baby shower

Mommy's cousin Keri threw us a little baby shower this last weekend. It was a lot of fun. Just a few of Mommy's friends were there, and we got lots of cute clothes for my baby sister!

Daddy thought that he would give it one last shot before we left the house. Mommy warned him that I was NOT going to wear it, but he thought that he could charm me into it. Yeah right!

Trick or Treat

Misti, Joe and Elijah invited us over to their house to join in the festivities. We had a great time!
