Our "Green" Christmas Card

The end of 2010 is proven to be a very busy season in our lives. I know that we have not been good about posting pictures lately, and I do apologize. However, I made a slide show that is 2010 in review to make it up to you. This is our "Green" Christmas card to you.

Have a Very Merry Christmas!
Love, The Whipple Family

All about self expression

Lexi no longer lets anyone decide how she will dress or how her hair will be done. I feel like she is a 15 year old in a 3 year old body. Everything from how she wants her hair styled (she will sit for 15 mins as I straighten her hair if that is what she wants), to what shoes. She doesn't wear pants, and if I make her, she insists on wearing a skirt over them. The more mismatched her outfit is, the better.

Mike's Marathon!

After training for MONTHS and losing 70lbs, Mike was finally ready to run his 1st Marathon. It was in Long Beach, CA, and it was the most amazing weekend! He did an amazing job, finishing in 4 hours, 32 mins. (Which is fantastic for a 1st marathon!)

Here we are at 5:30am, waiting for the race to start!

Mike works with these 2 guys. Kevin and Brett did the 1/2 Marathon that day.
At Mile 6, coming in for a kiss!!! I'm so proud!
Mile 26! Coming into the finish line!
 Finished!!!! 1st Marathon!

My brother Curtis and his wonderful girlfriend came to hang out with me while I waited!

So proud of him. He has spend the year 2010 working hard and it finally paid off. Now he is going to train for another!

Decorating Pumpkins

We got to decorate pumpkins with our MOPS group. The girls had a great time!

Fun Times

Grammy and Papa came to visit

At the beginning of October, Grammy and Papa came to see us. We had a great time with them!

Beauty and the Beast, the play

We frequently go to a playhouse that has Children's Theater. It is so much fun and the girls always enjoy themselves. This time it was Beauty and the Beast.

They were wearing handmade "Pillow Case" dresses made by their Grandma. So cute!

CHEESE!!

Lexi wanted to show off her hair. It is long enough to braid and its one of her favorite hair styles these days.

At the play... taking it all in.

Lexi and some friends

During intermission and after the play, the kids got to go play on the stage. The girls danced and danced.

We couldn't take any pictures of the play, but after the kids can have their picture taken with the characters.
