Big Girl Car Seat

Allie finally gets to ride in the car facing forward. What a change in attitude she has had. She is so happy to be able to see what is going on.

After washing the carseats, they wanted to sit in them. So they got strapped in and were given a snack. Its the perfect babysitter!

Decorating for Christmas

We had a fun family night of decorating the Christmas Tree.

Then we got to eat some yummy cookies

November Fun

Mommy is sure keeping us busy. She has LOTS of pictures to post to catch you up on our lives. We've been having lots of fun.

She caught me trying to sneak out of the front door

Grandma bought us some new outdoor toys (in honor of Allie's 1st birthday)

While Daddy was building it, he had to get inside to do some finishing touches. Good thing Mommy had her camera nearby!

We also got a 4 wheeler, I dont like it very much, but Allie figured out how to push the button and drove herself across the patio! It was really funny.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, we stayed home and had a yummy dinner.

Since it was warm, my mommy let me dress up like a princess. I even got Great Grandma to wear my princess crown.

Eating dinner

Allie wasn't a big fan of it

Touring an Apple Farm

With our Mommy and Me Preschool we went to Oak Glen where there are apple farms. We got to go to Riley's Farm and they taught us about the history of the apple farms. It was a really fun day.

We got to ride a wagon pulled by 2 big horses. Grandma came with us.

Then we learned about how they make Apple Cider

We even got to help. Grandma helped me put an apple into the press.

We got to see a log house and learn all about how they lived a long time ago.

They had clothes that we could dress up in

Then we got to do some "chores." Here we are making a bed out of hay.

Then we needed to do our "schoolwork"

We got to taste the Apple cider that we made.

After Riley's farm, we went to another farm and had lunch.

Allie is sampling an apple

That was a very fun day!

Havin' Fun

Look who has earrings!

This last weekend, Mommy and Daddy took me to get my ears pierced. Mommy couldn't handle it, so Daddy held me while Mommy and Lexi took a walk. It hurt. A lot. But I was a tough girl and by the time we got in the car, I was fine. (Mommy might have cried more than I did!)

Official 1st Word

Mommy and Daddy were both in the room, so I think we can call it official.

Mommy looked at me and said, "Bye-Bye Allie."

I looked at the door, waved my hand and said "Ba-ba"

Its official. 11 months old, and already have my first word. I beat Lexi on that milestone (She was 14 months), so maybe that means I'll talk more than she does. (I dont see how that could be possible though.)

Love,
Allie

A New Look!

Mommy was doing her hair one day and I got curious. So she stood me on the toilet seat and played with my hair.

What do you think?

My hair didn't stay that way for long. It went back to its curly self during my nap.

Love,
Lexi

Halloween Night

On Halloween night, we went over to a friends house and had a little party in the front yard, passed out candy and did a little trick or treating ourselves. We had a great time!

Once I got the hang of it, it was pretty fun to get candy. I didn't realize how easy it was to get candy, but all you have to do is open your bag and say "Trick or treat." It was WAY fun!

After we got back, we did a donut eating contest. They hung donuts up on a string and the object of the game is to eat with without using your hands. It was SO fun. Mommy doesn't usually give me donuts, so I was so excited about this game.

Us little kids got to use our hands since it was a little harder for us

Once I got my first bite, I didn't want to stop

YUMMY!

Allie just sat back and watched

Then it was the adults turn. It was so funny to watch them. Daddy is super competitive, and he was really getting into it.

It was a great Halloween!
