ICE CREAM!!!

Daddy was trying to sneak me some ice cream when Mommy wasn't looking, but she caught us red handed. Mommy told Daddy that if he fed me anymore, then he was going to have to take the night shift....she thought I was going to get hyper or something. But that scared Daddy enough that he stopped feeding me the

delicious ice cream.

I think instead of cereal, veggies and fruit, I would like to have Ice Cream as a regular solid in my diet. Maybe I'll see if Dr. Tony

will let me!

Just Playing

Nothing much has been happening around here. Oh wait.... this last weekend I stayed with my Grandma ALL weekend long. My Mommy and Daddy went out of town for some work thing... so I got spoiled all weekend! But other than that... I've just been running around town with Mommy.

Lunch with Uncle Curtis

My mommy and I kidnapped my Uncle Curtis one day and took him to lunch. My mommy thought it would be nice to sit outside... but I guess she didn't think about the fact that it was 100 degrees that day. So we all sat in the icky heat and I watched them eat lunch. Fun times for me... they didn't even offer to share!

Today we went to the beach with some friends. We played in the sun, splashed in the water, and took a nap in the shade.

Weekend with Auntie Lauren

Last weekend my Auntie Lauren had a bridal shower and I got to go be one of the "girls." I was passed around the room until I passed out!

A Play Date

My Mommy and I met up with a friend in our area that has a little girl that is almost the same age as me. Her name is Claire and I had a great time with her. We both got a little cranky at the end of our visit, so our mommies made us take a nap.

4 Month Check Up

Today I went to go see Dr. Tony. I love him! As soon as he saw me, he picked me up, gave me a kiss on the cheek and cuddled me! Of course he had to do the normal check up stuff, but he spent a good amount of time playing with me. He even said "I can just play with you all day long." I think he really likes me.

He said that I am a healthy girl. Here are my stats:

Weight: 15.01 lbs

Length: 25 inches

I'm about average for my age. He said that all of my developmental skills are right on track. He gave my Mommy the okay to start cereal. Mommy doesn't want me to start eating baby food just yet.... she doesn't want to admit that I'm a big girl! So Dr Tony said that for now we should just start with cereal in my bottle, and then in a month we are going to try eating cereal with a spoon! That will be a picture perfect moment. Haha. (We'll be sure to posts those pictures!)

I had to get 4 "Bad Shots" today (As my Cousin Caroline would say "Bad Shots.") I was more upset with the nurse.... just looking at her made me cry. Mommy tried to convince me that the nurse is a nice girl, and I had to get the shots to keep me healthy.... I beg to differ. Maybe next time she should get one with me! But she did try to cheer me up by putting cute band-aids on me.

All about our trip

We had a great time visiting our friends and family up in Northern California. We decided that we were going to drive instead of fly this time around. Mommy figured that the trip would take us a long time because she thought that I would have a hard time being in my car seat for 8 hours.

To her surprise I did great!!!! Grandma and Mommy decided to leave at 3:30am in hopes that I would sleep most of the trip, and sure enough I did! I only woke up once to eat while Mommy got gas in the car. The trip home was the same story, I slept almost the entire way!

We did lots of things while we were there. Of course we visited our family, but we also were able to visit some of Mommy's friends. One day we met up with Auntie Lauren to help pick out the flowers for her wedding. Another day we went to Auntie Regan's baby shower. She is about ready to pop! My boyfriend Landen is scheduled to arrive in early September.

Mommy tried to get a shot of all 3 of us in the car. She got the side of her head, Grandma looking the other direction, and you can see me in the mirror. Silly Mommy. Next time, just focus on the road!

Grammy and Papa

I've missed my Grammy and Papa! I wish we didn't live so far away, so maybe one day we can move closer!

They both took every chance they could to cuddle me. Sometimes I felt like they were playing hot potato and I was the potato. They passed me around all day.

Top Floor Tea Room

One afternoon we decided to go to a traditional tea room. We couldn't figure out why the servers kept staring at me, we just thought that it was because I was so cute. Later we found out that the "prefer" to not have children under 5 in the Tea Room. Whoops! But all the ladies realized that I was being a good girl and made several nice comments about me.
