Lexi-isms

Here is the translation guide for my language

"Tars" - I want to watch Cars Movie
"How" - Help!
"Posh" - Push
"Barage" - Garage
"Mon" - Come On
"Des Doe" - Where'd it go?
"Pies" - Please
"Is Doe" - Its Cold
"All None" - All Done
"Sto" - Lets Go or Go

I am saying LOTS of words now, but some of them get lost in translation. Sometimes its frustrating when people dont understand me.

Lots of pictures!

Here is an overload of pictures to start off the new year!

Baby Allie trying really hard to lift her head

My pretty toes! Mommy didn't have time to paint all my toenails, so she painted just the big toes. I love having my toenails painted!

Just making sure that Allie's swing is safe

Hanging out in our jammies

Using my "gentle hands" to touch Allie's face

Showing Allie how to play with her toys. She just doesn't get it.

What is on my foot?????

Allie and Daddy taking a nap. Dont they look alike?

Maybe Mommy will put me in the washing machine!

I'm just going to sit here and watch the Cars movie.

Helping Papa

While Papa was visiting, he did a little remodeling in our bathrooms. He installed new toilets and new flooring. It looked like so much fun, so I decided to help.

Thanks Papa! The bathrooms look so pretty now!

Christmas 2008

We hope that you had a wonderful Christmas. We certainly did. Grammy and Papa from Northern California came to visit. It was so much fun having lots of family around. I was always busy doing something.

Here are the highlights of our Christmas:

Telling Santa what I want for Christmas

On Christmas Eve, Grammy let me open a present. I got dress up shoes!!!
Eating breakfast on Christmas Morning. I got to lick the spatula that was used for the cinnamon rolls! YUMMY!
A fun little kitchen set that is just my size!

My Auntie Heather got me a tutu, wings and a wand! It was SOOO much fun to dance around the room in. (Yes, my wings are upside down. I was so excited that I wouldn't let Mommy fix it!)

Allie and Grammy
Higglytown Heroes Play Set. This is SOO much fun!
Allie slept through presents. Papa was trying to show her what she got.

Wearing Papa's glasses
(I have food on my face - whoops)

Allie and Papa snuggling
A piano!
My new tricycle. It has a handle on the back so someone can push me around! It is SO much fun.

I got lots of presents this year. Mommy and Daddy had to hide some and have been letting me open a new present as a surprise throughout the day. I think there may be more hiding in the closet. Mommy keeps saying that next year she isn't going to buy so much. We'll see about that!

Our Quilts

Our Grandma Ann makes amazing quilts. She made the quilts for our beds.
Allie got her quilt this year for Christmas!
This is mine!

Christmas Lights

Tonight Mommy and Daddy took me on a special trip. Just the 3 of us. Like how it used to be. We went and looked at Christmas Lights! There is a neighborhood by us that goes all out. Everyone decorates their house, and many people offer hot chocolate for all the "tourists."

It was a lot of fun, but really cold! (45 degrees... which is REALLY cold in Southern California)

Mommy was REALLY excited when we came to this house. She said something about a Cabbage Patch Kids Nativity. I dont get what all the hype was, but she said she used to play with these dolls when she was a kid.

2 Weeks Old

Allie is 2 weeks old today! Can you believe it? Time has flown by.

So here she is at 2 weeks

Then to compare... this is me, Lexi, at 2 weeks old

An Attempt at a Family Photo

Allie and I showed Mommy and Daddy that things dont always go as planned with 2 kids. We made it difficult to get a good family picture. A few turned out, but I made lots of funny faces!

Socks. Allie is wearing socks! (My new favorite word)
Totally over it.

I found my ear. Its right here!

Poking Daddy's eye
Mommy and Daddy were trying to get a picture of just the two of them. I jumped in at the last second!
